Good Monday afternoon. I just wanted to give everyone an update on the goings on at SMR. We are currently getting ready for the Katy, Tx show. We will be taking Mira, Moonshine and Dorado. We will be making a lot of changes at SMR soon. As many of you know, our goal is to provide Equine Therapy both here at SMR and mobile therapy to local area Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. This has been our ultimate goal since starting SMR and it is in both Heather and my hearts to start this sooner rather than later. We have all seen the benefits of Equine Therapy with people whom suffer from both mental and physical conditions. In order to do this, we have to get our riding area both covered and insulated. As you also know my health has not been the best and as of late, I have been dealing with the leg issues. Since 2020, we have built on the barn ourselves without hiring contractors. But I physically cannot do the things I was doing. So if we are going to get the riding area done and finish the barn and fencing, we are going to have to hire a contractor to help. In order to do this, we have established both GoFundMe and GiveButter Campaigns. We will also be revamping the website over the next several weeks. We have to make some changes to the way we are doing things in order to fund our SMR Therapy Goals. We know God has a plan for us and we are putting our faith in him. We will be adding both a Contessa and Diosa memorial tumbler later this week to the website. We are looking at the possibility of adding memorial tee shirts and hoodies. Look for updates soon!
We are going to Katy, Tx later in the week and we will go live from there as much as possible for the show. We know how much everyone loves watching. Mira is progressing well and this will be her first ever show. Moonshine and Dorado are doing well and we expect a great show out of him and Dorado.
Are far as breeding for 2025 foals, Uno is confirmed, as we have already announced. Isadora has been bred but is not confirmed as of yet and Gitana has bred the last two nights. We should know about both in about 3 weeks. We are praying that they will both be in foal to Infinto at that time. Mira has not come into heat as of today. We will be doing our live tomorrow evening for treats, hugs and bows. We will also work on grooming horses who have got to five hearts in our heart challenge.
